Jordin Sparks - Battlefield [iTunes Plus]

Battlefield is the second studio album by American Idol Season 6 winner, R&B and pop artist Jordin Sparks. It was released July 17 in Australia and Ireland, July 20 in the UK and from July 21, 2009 worldwide through Jive and RCA, under license to Zomba Music Group and distributed through Sony Music.

The album is a mixture of contemporary R&B and pop although many critics have cited dance-pop and pop-rock influences. For the album Sparks was reunited with previous producers and hitmakers Harvey Mason, Jr. and Claude Kelly as well as experimenting new sounds with award-winning songwriters and producers such as Ryan Tedder, Dr. Luke and Toby Gad. The album has been generally well recieved by critcs who praise the album as a solid effort with many single choices although there was some critism over the decision not to take the album in a more R&B direction.

The first single is also called "Battlefield" and was produced and co-written by Tedder. The single was released in North America on May 12 reaching the top 25 in in the US and the Top 20 in Canada. Internationally the single reached the top 10 in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, and the top 20 in most other territories. "S.O.S. (Let the Music Play)" will be released as the second single.

But this song is good i love Rihanna's verse in in the song and Kanye didn't do to shabby his self the song has hit the radio's today so request it!

Blake Lewis - Sad Song [iTunes Plus]

Blake Lewis recently announced on his YouTube channel that his new album will be released on October 6th, and the single, "Sad Song," will be released "on July 21st." In a recent interview, he said that he is considering 'Universal Imagery' as the title for his new album. He mentioned that, "I have had others, but not as good. I'll know more when I get more of the tracks done and more of a picture has been painted.". On June 17th, Lewis confirmed in his official Twitter page the title for his new album would be "Heartbreak on Vinyl". Lewis also stated that he had recorded new songs including "Freak", "Electric Touch" and "Binary Love".

Kristinia DeBarge - Exposed [Retail]

2009 debut album from the R&B vocalist Kristinia Debarge, featured on the 2003 American Idol

spinoff, American Juniors. Kristinia is no stranger to the music business. Shes

the daughter of 80s pop star James DeBarge but her road to a record deal was

not handed over to her without patience, perseverance and hard work. Kristinia

grew up listening to strong female vocalists like Mariah Carey, Christina

Aguilera, Alicia Keys and the Supremes but she credits Rock artists like Led

Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and even Queens Of The Stone Age as some of her

influences. Kristinia has a personal connection to each of the songs on her

album. They either tell a story about her life or delve into an emotion shes

experienced. The smash single Goodbye, which samples Steams 1969 hit Na Na

Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye, has also been used in television ad campaigns,

helping to push sales of the single over 300,000 in less than two months.

I'm Back!

Sorry about not updating the blog in a long time, I just haven't been doing it lately but I'm back taking request and posting on the regular so yeah.
